Alistair Heavey has been with Delice de France for 19 years. He began as a loader and night driver at Bow in the East End of London. By the mid-90’s he was off the road and managing depots and recently helped set-up the Northern Ireland depot in Belfast. He is described by colleagues as the lynchpin of the transport department.
“During my time at Delice de France I have seen the business develop from a family orientated concept to the premiere manufacturer and distributer of baked goods in the UK. Seeing this transition and being part of all of it, has made me enormously proud to be part of Delice de France.”
Marie-Laure Rousseau started work at Delice de France 15 years ago as the company’s first receptionist and Philippe Signlot’s assistant. During her time at Delice de France, Marie-Laure has worked across many of the key areas of the business, including telesales, IT and her current role in Procurement and Marketing.
“I love to see someone walking down the street eating their breakfast out of a Delice de France bag or choosing one of our products for their lunch. Even when I’m traveling it makes me so proud when I see a Delice de France truck. The other day I saw one in Edinburgh delivering to the castle and it really made my day!”
