Passion for food

25 years ago a small café opened in
Barnes, South West London.

The café was the brainchild of Philippe Signolet, a Frenchman and lover of food, whose vision was to prepare the finest breads and pastries using the best ingredients and to share his passion for good food with all his customers.


The café was called ‘Delice de France’. But now, of course a quarter of a century later, our business is a little bigger – Delice de France is now the leading manufacturer and distributor for great Bakery & Savoury products to the Food Service industry in the UK.

In the year of our 25th anniversary we still hold Philippe’s founding principles close to our hearts – to make the finest products using the best ingredients.
